solar panels (PV)

The sun is one of the cleanest and inexhaustible sources from which to generate electricity. That relatively little use is made has something to do with the long return on investment period, and certainly to do with the lack of political will.

In the past there were extensive subsidies for large-scale use of solar energy in the Netherlands. In recent years our economic cuts has seen us hand over our leading role to our eastern neighbours. Currently Germany is the world’s largest producer of solar panels.

Sustainability Goals

The Netherlands cannot avoid the global sustainability goals, which once again raises the demand for solar power in our country . Large-scale production of solar panels leads to reduced production costs and hence a reduced return on investment time.
